And we will never forget the 97 children, women and men who didn't make it home, and what their families went through.

The other day someone on here asked after the
#NFFC
fan who was at Hillsborough, who had also lost his brother, father, grandfather and uncle in the Bradford fire.
His brother Andrew would've been 50 today.
We send our love and thoughts to Martin and his family 💔
Today would have been Andrew’s 50th birthday.
Aged 11, Andrew was the youngest victim of the fire at Bradford City that killed 56 people.
He was also my mate’s brother. I wrote this for
@TheAthleticFC
a couple of years ago.

fans as well. Our DM's are open too.
When survivors first get in touch with us they often say " never spoke to anyone about Hillsborough ", " I don't speak to family and friends about it".
We totally understand, most of us are the same.
Just sitting in a room with other survivors, no words are needed we just get it.

That was one of our members, Martin's story. He and Paul Clark lived round the corner from each other. They travelled to Hillsborough separately, stood in opposite ends and only one of the them made it home 💔

Lots of Forest fans were just as disgusted by those chants as you were. We decided to do something about it, hence the banner at the last two games at Anfield, and now working with Notts Police and NFFC. We also hope for better tomorrow.

It's outdated and embarrassing and I understand why it causes offence. I feel the same when Liverpool fans chant Scabs at us. Time to bin them both.

Every fanbase has got an element who want to taunt/wind up the opposition, it's what they go for. At least we're not talking about tragedy chanting again this season, we've got to take that as a positive. We worked hard to make that change, but one step at a time. All the best 🤝
