Here’s my Top 5 WRs. Rankings based on film.
Awesome group. So much to like with Nabers, Thomas, and Harrison. I just think the LSU guys are able to separate more and run by you better than Harrison
Sam Howell:
3.5 months younger than Michael Penix
7 months younger than Bo Nix
Born the same month and year as Spencer Rattler
2.5 months older than Jayden Daniels
Had 26 Total TDs despite playing behind the worst line in football as a 22 year old first year starter
Pete
I'm telling you guys Drake Maye is a Viking
They're sending a godfather offer for 2 or 3
Josh McCown (Vikings QB coach) coached Drake Maye in Highschool
He fits Kevin O'Connel's system perfectly
Connections are important, Maye is the Vikings guy imo not McCarthy/Daniels
Things I can’t believe the NFL let happen:
Xavier Worthy to the Chiefs 😍
Drake Maye to the Patriots when he was very clearly QB2 since his 2022 szn
Quinyon & Arnold falling to Super Bowl contenders
Vikings walking away with JJ & Turner
The Bears pairing Caleb & Odunze
New look Tennessee Titans
- Bill Callahan, a modern offensive mind who plays up tempo
- Gunslinger 2nd year QB
- No Derrick Henry
- Two pass catching backs
- $23Ms per for Calvin Ridley
- Likely adding more OL/WR help with 7 and 38 in the draft
This won’t look like the
Mel Kiper has been scouting players since I was a spec in my dads nut sack
And he has Xavier Worthy as a top 16 player in this class and a top 5 WR
The most slept on future star in this class because “fast WRs never hit”
Quit being lazy, watch some tape & stack some numbers
My Top 5 Highest Grades (out of 1100) in the last 2 draft classes :
1. Kyle Pitts (1035)
2. Trevor Lawrence (1030)
3. Travis Etienne (1020)
4. Ja'Marr Chase (1000)
5. Devonta Smith (995)
A New 👑 has emerged:
Bijan Robinson
Official Grade - 1040
Highest grades I’ve given to Wide Receivers since 2021
1. 95.50 - Marvin Harrison Jr. 🥇
2. 90.91 - Ja’Marr Chase
T-3. 90.00 - Malik Nabers
T-3. 90.00 - Devonta Smith
4. 88.52 - Drake London
5. 87.95 - Garrett Wilson
There is 2 absolute alphas in the 2024 WR class
Rookie WRs who averaged greater than 15 yards per reception this season:
1. Quintez Cephus (17.5)
2. Henry Ruggs III (17.4)
3. Gabe Davis (17.1)
4. Jerry Jeudy (16.5)
5. Justin Jefferson (15.9)
6. Denzel Mims (15.5)
*AJB, Mclaurin, DK, Mecole & Slayton did this last year
I've now graded 4 Wide Receivers in the 2024 NFL Draft
Here are my Range of Outcome (ROO) Comparisons:
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Ceiling: Julio Jones
Floor: Tee Higgins
Malik Nabers
Ceiling: Brandon Aiyuk
Floor: Victor Cruz
Rome Odunze:
Ceiling: Smaller Mike Evans
Floor: Michael
The highest film + analytics grades I've given WRs as prospects since 2021:
1. Marvin Harrison Jr - 95.5
2. Ja'Marr Chase - 90.91
T-3. Malik Nabers - 90.0
T-3. Devonta Smith - 90.0
4. Drake London - 88.52
5. Rome Odunze - 88.25
6. Garrett Wilson - 87.95
7. Jaxon Smith-Njigba -
Working through the tape and charting Malik Nabers vs Alabama this year
3 Plays. 3 PLAYS!
Where he did not win his rep
2 top 50 picks at corner for the Tide
This is Brandon Aiyuk 2.0
Not ASU Brandon Aiyuk, the guy that's scorching the NFL this year as a 4th year starter
Arthur Smith is the most misunderstood coach in the NFL
He doesn’t “hate” Kyle Pitts
He uses him better than any TE is used in the league
47% of his snaps from the slot
31% of his snaps lined up at WR
16 deep targets over the last 2 years
(Leads all TEs despite missing 7
Gus Edwards is the RB12 in PPR PPG since Week 7
I'm still not over JK Dobbins getting hurt, the guy would've erupted for a top 6 RB season this year
And that's a fact
Is this WR class bad? Which of these day 2 WRs is worth selecting? Who are some good sleepers?
Breaking down the anatomy of a 15+ PPR PPG Wide Receiver was the key to finding this out
A Thread:
The market was high on Elijah Moore last year with Zach Wilson as his QB and a top 10 pick at WR added
Now he has the potential to become the long term
#1
for one of the best QBs in the NFL
One of the most obvious buys I’ve ever seen for an early 2nd pricetag in most leagues
Here are my highest graded prospects since 2021:
1. 94.54 - Bijan Robinson
2. 94.09 - Kyle Pitts
3. 94.09 - Trevor Lawrence
4. 92.73 - Travis Etienne
5. 90.91 - Ja'Marr Chase
6. 90.00 - Devonta Smith
We have a new King 👑
1. 95.50 - Marvin Harrison Jr. 🔥🔥
Per ESPN, the top 5 most common fantasy players on 2019 championship rosters were:
1. Breshad Perriman
2. AJ Brown
3. CMC
4. Tyler Higbee
5. Devante Parker
Who’s it going to be this year?
Shoot your shot down below, winner gets $100, paid out Jan 1
RTs appreciated
WR4 before he ran it, WR4 after he ran it
Btw John Ross didn’t cook the Power 5 with 1000 & 12 TDs at 18 years old
Xavier’s true freshman year was better than Ross’s Senior season 🤷♂️
As a Bucs fan, Jalen McMillan could very well outscore Chris Godwin in fantasy this year
The drumbeat has never been this loud in my time as a fan of this team
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Round 3 rookie WR Jalen McMillan only has run 16 preseason routes but has put up elite per-route data to follow up a steady drumbeat of training camp praise.
- 37.5% target per route run rate
- 3.56 yards per route run
Smooth operator.
Per
@RecepPerception
The only rookies that achieved a 75% success rate or better across all coverages

Buy high in dynasty
The END is NEAR for your favorite dynasty running backs
Last year this study correctly predicted the demise of many formerly elite fantasy football running backs
And these RBs are approaching the point in age and touches where RB production drops-off 5.85 PPR PPG 🔽🔽
Kyler Murray had ACL surgery on Jan 3rd
ACL recovery is 9-12 months
9 months would put him pre-W1 and K1 is reportedly ahead of schedule
I'm not counting on Kyler being on the field week 1 but I think the market expects him to miss 80%+ of the season
Seems too pessimistic
🧵You're probably overrating how much tread former elite fantasy running backs have left on their tires
Cook, Kamara, Henry, Chubb, Aaron Jones, CMC
Are all dangerously close to approaching the RB age and touch apex where their production will drop-off 6.4 PPR PPG on average⬇️
Yards per Route Run Against Man Coverage among the 2024 WR Draft Class:
1. Xavier Legette - 4.04 🔥🥇
2. Rome Odunze - 3.72
3. Troy Franklin - 3.66
4. Malachi Corley - 3.51
5. Malik Nabers - 3.15
6. Marvin Harrison Jr. - 3.00
JK Dobbins averaged over 6 yards per touch on less than a 50% opportunity share of the Ravens backfield this year
Only two other running backs since 2013 have accomplished this as rookies, David Johnson and Alvin Kamara
Both finished top 3 in fantasy PPG in their 2nd season
Doing a sweeping update of my dynasty WR rankings
Here's how the rookie WR class stacks up
WR8 - Puka Nacua
WR15 - Jordan Addison
WR17 - Tank Dell
WR18 - Zay Flowers
WR21 - Jaxon Smith-Njigba
WR23 - Rashee Rice
WR28 - Josh Downs
WR29 - Jayden Reed
Who's too high? too low?
Drake London when the Falcons pass for more than 250 yards in his career
9-6-78-0
12-9-125-0
11-10-172-0 (+ a 2PT CONV)
Competent QB play and he's a superstar
I'm gonna keep screaming to buy him until he's a consensus top 10 Dynasty WR
There is 5 Bijan’s in the 2024 class
Caleb Williams
Drake Maye
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Malik Nabers
Brock Bowers
Are all transcendent prospects at their positions that will all be top 15 NFL draft picks
The most common traits among 53 WRs who have finished with 15 PPR PPG in a season since 2015
Sorry age truthers but it's not as predictive as you think
Aside from the "Don't be too slow" qualifier
Production, at any age remains 👑
Have you ever wondered how you're going to decide between crowded WR cores like the Bucs and Steelers?
I present: The True Value of Targets
A new metric I created to properly weight the types of targets WRs get
109 Juju targets or 100 Claypool targets? which is more valuable?
Done grading Jalin Hyatt, he can win vertically
And... that's it
0 chance I spend more than a mid 2nd at most on this guy in a rookie draft
This is a WR3 for an NFL team
Is D’Andre Swift this years AJ Brown?
We waited for Swift to come out for years, he goes to a great situation with high draft capital.
& we’re just not that high on him because KJ was good in college?
Remember when we weren’t high on AJ Brown last year because of Corey Davis
There it is fellas, the straw that broke the camels back
I am officially admitting defeat, I had Jordan Addison at WR1 on the basis of a high route running grade for me on film
This will lower his grade slightly making JSN my official WR1
I'm sure Addison would've scored
Arthur Smith & the Falcons scored the 15th most points in the NFL last year with:
🔹Marcus Mariota (PFF's 28th rated passer) & A rookie
🔹7 Games without Kyle Pitts
🔹Tyler Allgeier & C-Pat at RB
🔹A 21 year old rookie
#1
WR
🔹23rd easiest schedule
Every single position has a
I have this acid test that I like to do on the RB class every year
Once my RB database is made (WRs & RBs done!)
I like to sort through some qualifiers to see who pops
There are 3 RBs in this class who meet the following thresholds:
✅Younger than 22.0 on draft night
✅PFF
Maybe this is a wild take I am having a hard time finding a huge difference between:
Jalen McMillan's sophomore tape in 2022
Jaxon Smith Njigba's sophomore tape in 2021
McMillan's a name I knew was getting some sleeper buzz, but I'm pleasantly surprised
I'm In.
Working through 2024 summer scouting for the RB position
Folks...
Trey Benson is the best back in this class
Not Raheim Sanders, Not TreVeyon Henderson, Not Blake Corum, Not Braelon Allen, Not Donovan Edwards
Trey Benson is HIM
My RB1: A thread
I am not an NFL Scout, nor do I pretend to be
Scouting for fantasy is different, for fantasy purposes there are 6 traits that matter most in my opinion, because they directly translate to fantasy points
Travis Etienne hits all 6 in spades
🚨There will NOT be another Puka Nacua 🚨
HOWEVER
That doesn't mean there won't be a WR sleeper that produces
Holy Cross WR Jalen Coker is the ULTIMATE SLEEPER
15 of his teams 25 TDs
1035 of his teams 2236 yards
6'1.5 208lbs & jumped 42.5 in the vert + 1008 broad
Wicked
In 2022, Trey Benson broke the PFF elusive rating record at 226.6 despite tearing his ACL, MCL, LCL and meniscus less than 1 year before
This guy forced a missed tackle on 40% of his career touches and it's like none of you care
My RB1 in this class and surprised people aren't
If you didn’t like Barkley this year, you flat out don’t know ball
Fading him for “poor efficiency” when his QB in NY lived with his fucking parents is the definition of lazy analysis
Elite talent, multi time RB1, gets dropped behind an elite line in BY FAR the best offense
In 2017, the ultimate raw gunslinger (Mahomes) was drafted 10th overall to sit behind the ultimate game manager (Alex Smith)
In 2023 an elite ceiling QB could be in striking distance for the Seahawks, who have a game manager (Geno) in place
AR-15 NEEDS to be a Seattle Seahawk
Michael Gallup is the cheapest every week flex play/WR3 in the entire dynasty landscape
This guy played 8 months off ACL surgery last year
What did we expect?
He could be the
#2
for a pass heavy top 10 scoring offense
Leaders in the 2022 WR class in avoided tackle % after the catch
1. Skyy Moore (27.66%)
2. Garrett Wilson (27.14%)
3. David Bell (26.88%)
4. Drake London (25.00%)
5. Treylon Burks (23.08%)
Solid group of YAC guys in this class
@NFL
@nflnetwork
Fuck ronde barber huh, I mean all he did was revolutionize the nickel position, and is the only DB to have 50+ ints and 25 sacks. But yeh throw Pat Pete on there instead ...
Per Matt Harmon’s Reception Perception:
The top 3 Rookie WRs vs Man Coverage

2. Lamb (93rd percentile)
3. Aiyuk (86th percentile)
@MoveTheSticks
I think we may be at a point with Sam that we can’t rely on pre draft grades anymore
He was a great prospect but we have a 3 year sample in the NFL
My 19 year old second cousin took his life today, so much potential and life to be lived. Mental illness affects everyone and please no one let suicide be an option. My dms are always open. RIP Curtis ❤️
There it is!
Thank you guys so much for the support
@dannyfootball59
& I started this channel as two kids talking ball
And it’s crazy to me that it’s now my full time gig
This first 3 years was just house money, we ain’t even in our contending window yet!🍻
Top 5 Wide Receivers in the 2024 NFL Draft in CAREER Yards per Route Run
1. Marvin Harrison Jr. (2.98) 🔥
2. Malik Nabers (2.83)
3. Troy Franklin (2.63)
4. Jacob Cowing (2.55)
5. Ladd McConkey (2.54)
@jordansamuels0n
Congrats on being the exact person I made fun of in the original tweet
Do some research homeboy
Terry Mclaurin
DK Metcalf
Tyreek
To name a few
Jaylen Waddle (if he was healthy enough to run)
My dream WR prospect
- 5’9 but listed 5’11 on his college website
- always doubted cause of his height
- “goes up and gets it”
- “if only he was 6’1 200 he’d be WR1”
- High target share
- Reception perception darling
- Athletic jitterbug
- Loves ball
My dream bf
- 6ft
- $300-500K total comp
- very ambitious & driven
- 27-33yo
- brown eyes
- loves nyc
- rlly funny but a bit weird
- rlly kind & has a moral system
- not trust fund baby (self made)
- good taste
- good listener & planner
- loves running & reading
- loves me a LOT
Just curious if I’m the only one who thinks Drake Maye maybe isn’t that much of a project??
Idk to me comparing him to a level of project of A-Rich seems egregious
Call me crazy but Drake seems much closer to the level of the other 2 2023 first round QBs than Richardson
Drake Maye and Anthony Richardson have a lot of similarities as prospects. Comes down to if you're willing to squint and see the ceiling, or not. Neither seemed that far off from figuring it out.
Here's my problem with Rome Odunze:
In 2021 & 2022 his contested catch rate (at 6'3 200+lbs) was just 5/22 (23%)
This year he was SUBSTANTIALLY better at 17/24 (70.8%)
But when you watch the tape on these plays, you can almost SEE his analytics profile on display
Experienced
You guys are out of your damn minds ranking Braelon Allen RB1 or Top 3 in this class
✅20.4 on Draft Night
✅Great Size
❌Slow Feet (3%⁉️ Missed tackles forced per SIS)
❌Disappointing Through Contact
❌Lapses with Vision/Instincts
❌Pass Pro miscues
❌Limited receiver
❌Ball
There are no jobs out there where an 81 year old person would be the best person for the job
However…
The President of the United States is the job Americans decided an 81 year old should do 😂
Unpopular take: I want an old head to be the next coach of the Atlanta Falcons
Arthur Smith: Young offensive mind who galaxy brained the usage of Pitts, Bijan & London ❌
Bill Belichick or some other old school coach:
Just uses the RB1 as a workhorse, TE1 usage for Pitts &

Sean Tuckers personal combine would’ve netted this
9.75 out of 10.00, 42 out of 1642 qualified backs since 1987
97th percentile and 4th highest amongst all RBs in the 2023 class
It definitely hurt his cause draft capital wise not being able to participate in Indy
I know I’m gonna get flamed for this but I just can’t help but I just have this 6th sense that by week 10+ of 2024
Sam Howell will be starting for the Seahawks
Geno’s a sturdy veteran and Sam can learn a lot from him in that time to patch up his own game at just 23 years old
Reminder: Be careful who's advice you take in rookie szn
Questioning someone's process is a way to get insight on new perspective and it forms very healthy debate
HOWEVER, If you question someone's process and this is their response, it should be no shock their hit rate is dust
Fuck the Saints
Fuck their Weasel Head Coach
Fuck their Noodle Arm QB
Fuck Diet Tebow Taysom Hill
Fuck Tristan Wirfs Son Cam Jordan
Fuck Mike Evans Whipping Boy Marshon Lattimore
