A feature I've been working on in this tool is to allow users to Record, Playback, Save, and Load Recordings up to 2 minutes. The grunt of the work is done but there's still more to do.

The Training Mode Tool had quite a few features
that had to be disabled for the first public release because they weren’t problem free. Here’s examples of some features that will hopefully be implemented next time. This is NOT in the public build ATM.

In case you didn't know: X-Factor Durations in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 are identical among the entire cast. The XF timer pauses during hitstop so characters who have lots of hitstop on their attacks and specials have the illusion of extra XF time.

It's because X-Factor uses frame skipping to speed things up and the important animation frame(s) needed for that move to connect there are skipped, so the hitbox isn't there at all. Happens with a few other moves, notoriously with Dante's 2M in XF2 & XF3.

In case you didn't know: Nemesis's level 1 Hyper, Biohazard Rush, is extremely unsafe on block. So unsafe, you can chicken block the following hits and come up with very.... unique punishes specifically for him. Hyper Armor does not save this move.

Hope they just start letting top players do early early reg. I know its top player privlege or whatever but I'd rather see mkleo and light go to CEO for example, rather than 2 dudes who are gonna go 0-2 and ask top players for pictures only after they lose

The colors in this pack were largely designed around giving characters' colors they didn't have before, as if they were actual colors in the game. This allows for color synergy between characters that didn't have it before and more options for teams that already do!

In Case You Didn't Know: Chun-Li's TK Spinning Bird Kicks are something else in Marvel 3; The input is a down charge but she can hold up long enough to jump and press an attack button to do SBK without losing the charge. The air versions are generally much safer than grounded.

I've been documenting this stuff happening for a while now. Simply put, when the game spawns something, it's in the middle of the screen(like coordinates 0,0,0) for one frame. When the camera is at a certain spot you'll see stuff spawn in that space shortly covering the screen.

In case you didn't know: Frank West was planned to be in the launch of Marvel vs Capcom 3 but got cut due to unspecified technical issues. You can spot his silhouette of a specific render in some of the MVC3 promotional art if you have a good eye.

The more time marches on since you've said this 9 years ago, the more I wonder if this is also applicable to AAA console games as well. Cyberpunk, Pokemon Sc/Vi, Jedi Survivor and more had serious problems on consoles as well.

I find it ridiculous that Nintendo isn't doing a fire/liquidation sale for 3DS and Wii U eShop games like what would be expected weeks before shutting down operations. Shoutouts to Capcom and Yacht Club games for actually doing this though.
