People clapped, though, so... that was nice.

Man, this anti-IDW rhetoric needs to die a cold hard death. It's the richest most expansive TF universe in the history of the franchise. With something different for everyone. No one ever said you had to like ALL of it.

Prototype Megatron into Galvatron Triple Changer.
I would have adored this as a kid, and tbh, I still would. This would have been a clever way of keeping Megatron on toy shelves 86 onwards. Even eBay would be alright with this!

Prototype triple changer Skywarp / Megatron.
This was likely just Takara engineers playing with ideas, but if this was a concept pre-Transformers, this could be the origin of Skywarp's colours, which were not seen or used in Diaclone.
