I was just chatting with a Pakistani friend of mine. She paid to a desi consultancy to get a job at an MNC. Now her H1b is being filled and they will file her GC too. She will get it within less than a year. How amazing ! She couldn't believe that I can't even get an EAD. LOL.

I think, last year I said that no immigration-related stuff will pass (not just related to Indians), not within the next 10 years. There might be 'some relief' for DACA, H4EAD, Aging out kids but nothing permanent in nature will ever pass. This game is very clear.

My Pakistani friend who got a job at Deloitte using a desi consultancy(she paid for her own h1b filing) just told me that she is going to Pakistan to get her H1B stamped (1st time) +the company already filed her Eb3 GC!She will get within 1.5 years and Indians will rot as usual!

Many of my Chinese PhD/MS friends have gone back to China last year. They are very smart people, not CCP supporters/agents as many Indians may assume. They went back because of visa issues. China welcomed them and offered very high salaries. No wonder China will rule the world.

I got my Canadian PR in a matter of a months. The officers were super responsive. When I entered Canada as a PR for the first time, all the officers at the border station got around and clapped for me. This is what a country which values immigrants looks like.

My 2 cents-I used to think points system was a good idea, now I'm skeptical. I think it'd lock in what a bureaucrat or politician thinks US needs. Better to let individual Americans decide (as our system now does) and simply add capacity to existing set up.

It tells only one thing. Indian EB visa slaves don’t matter or never will matter for immigration purposes. It doesn’t help any political parties. Indian EBs will matter only to support the easy supply of laborers.

Why dumbass desis don’t understand PhD doesn’t automatically mean EB. Many STEM faculty are Eb2. I was a top level administrator at a top engineering school. Such roles may generate millions of 💵 of revenue but don’t qualify for EB1 according to archaic criteria set by USCIS.

This is my Pakistani friend who faked credentials and got a job in IT last year via a desi consultancy who even charged her the H1b (1st time in 2021 filing fees. Her employer is doing her GC this year. Guess she will get GC within a year. 😂

Yes, the precondition of issuing a student visa is that they have sufficient funds to support themselves during the study period. Many Indian students apply through consultancies who create fake / fraudulent bank documents for students.

Sorry, but this is not the only solution. Thousands of Indians are spending money to go to other countries, especially in SE Asia to get their visas stamped. The approval rate is 100% and people are getting stamped passport back within 4 days. Unfair, inconvenient, but viable.

Canada CBP will welcome you, won’t ask any questions but every time you come back and enter the US, US CBP will harass you, especially if you are brown. Every time I waited for their questions/ harassments at the Michigan border, I have seen only brown people waiting at t office!

Got invited to a Canadian (white, 75+) woman’s house yesterday for Christmas. There was a painting on her wall with Arabic in it. She asked me to translate. Lol. I had similar situations in the USA too, many times. Why people assume all brown people speak/understand Arabic? 🤷🏻♂️

Because visa and greencard are two different things? There is no shortage of Indian H1Bs. 🇮🇳 Govt can negotiate visas for their own revenue and remittances purposes. But Indians getting 🇺🇸 GC doesn’t help Indian govt. Question is will Boris make getting 🇬🇧 ILR easier for Indians?

When I was still doing my PhD in my early 30s, a female immi officer chuckled after looking at my F1 and said ‘what’s the point you are still studying, you will be too old when you start a real job’. 🙄
Once an immi officer at port of entry asked me why Indians prefer airport assistance was referring to old aged Indian parents.told him most are old and it is hard to find directions due to language barriers.He believed it was because they feel pride when Americans work for them.
