No recreational golfers should be penalized for a good shot. If you hit the fairway and happen to end up in a spot that wasn’t repaired, roll that ball back a couple inches. The course record is safe either way.
Divots in your own fairway should be ground under repair.

Rory just hit 190mph ball speed on the course.
Carried a bunker that was ~330 to cover with ease.
It went 358 and he did not get much roll 😂
That requires a mimimim of 127mph club head speed.

Shot of the day.
Made the birdie putt, too! It was very downhill, and I hit probably the softest putt I’ve ever hit. It looked like it might stop after about 3 feet, but it just kept rolling, ever so slowly. Then it caught the right edge of the cup and dropped.

There is so much variance in golf rounds. Last two days rounds felt like such a mixed bag.
Played in pretty windy conditions Monday at Audubon, started terribly, had a decent run, then ended poorly.
