Recruits: if you are not interested in a program and what they have to offer it’s ok tell us coaches no. We rather say you “Thanks Coach but I’m not interested” that goes a long way rather than saying nothing at all.

Players: Coaches put so much time into you and the program. There are things they deal with behind closed doors. Go out there give them 110% in the class room and on the court. Behind those closed doors they are fighting for you!

Got asked the question: Why would you leave coaching college to coach high school? Doesn’t make a difference where I coach.The hype doesn’t come from the level which I coach. It comes from being a service to these young people. That’s where my heart is.

Athletes: Your health is so important. Pay attention to your body. Give your body the rest it deserves. Try to eat the right things. Drink plenty of water take ice baths, take rehab seriously. Your Quality of life is more important then a bounce of a ball.
