COACHING NEWS: Case Ingram will be the next head football coach at Biggersville, replacing Stan Platt, who led the program to historic heights over the previous five seasons.
The 31-year-old Kossuth alum has been a Lions assistant coach for three years.

I wish news media would report on districts, teachers, and staffs working hard to keep kids safe instead of the number of quarantined students. The amount of “safeguards” in place is numerous. We are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe and schools open!

few things I’ve learned in my first two weeks as a HC:
1) have a plan for everything-even though most days they don’t go as planned
2) Everyone looks at you differently.
3) each day is like a sprinting marathon
4) good coaches around you are a blessing

I ask everyone to stop and pray for a JR. high football of ours. He was airlifted Memphis and currently at St. Jude. The doctors think he may have leukemia. He is having a bone marrow test and spinal tap about 12 today.

sometimes I think—man, I should have gotten my Master’s before I had four kids...but how boring of a story is a married dude with no kids getting a master’s degree. Being a husband/father of four-wife that has a cookie empire-getting her master’s degree too is such a better story
