The 🐐
It’s hard to comprehend a place we have called home for 25+ years would treat a man who has positively impacted so many on and off the court this way.. I am lucky to not just call him dad, but coach and mentor. I love you
#TTPTPL
Opportunities like this don’t come often, and I couldn’t be more excited to be named the next Head Coach at Central Baptist College. Can’t thank
@CoachCWRIGHT
enough for everything he has done for me and this program.

Going to remember this season and this team forever.
Talk about a team that never gives up.. We were 6-9 with 7 straight losses (last 4 dealing with covid w/ 2 forfeits and 2 w/ JV and baseball guys). Most thought our season was over. Fast forward and we win 11 of 14 to get to 17-12 on the year and 4th place in the SAC. 4:1

First regular season conference championship in school history. Can’t explain how happy I am for our players and coaching staff. To finish the regular season at 20-8 and be co-conference champions with the

84-60 win on the road at Park to move to 8-0 (3-0 in conference). Can’t brag enough on how well our guys came together through all the adversity we faced this week, losing 3 guys out of our top 6.

I am very confused by this..
How is a team in our conference ranked higher in our arc than us when we swept them, finished higher than them in the regular season, and we went 2 rounds deeper in the conference tournament? With very similar RPI and SOS
Someone make it make sense
What a great first year at CBC. The season definitely did not end how we wanted, but still so proud of our guys for the year we had. Made a lot of history in year 1.

Wayland Baptist. Held a great scoring team to 65 points and 34% shooting from the field. Back at it Friday and Saturday at Angelo State’s Thanksgiving Classic.
The persistence and grit of this team is amazing. So proud of this team for refusing to quit, despite all the adversity we have continually faced all year. Man, what a special group of guys!

Kansas City here we come!
3rd POW honor for Vic and the 5th POW out of 9 weeks for us as a team.
Through all the adversity we have been through our team continues to come together and grow. Proud to be their coach.
Very unfortunate that it’s come to this.. COVID policies are now requiring us to forfeit games due to players testing positive. There’s got to be a better way.
Got to see my former boss
@CoachCWRIGHT
coach today in the national tournament. Got the job in July and still won 24 games and got his team to KC. Congrats on a great season coach!
This is a TEAM award. I’m proud of our players and staff for the week they had! Another huge week this week on the road. I appreciate everyone that has reached out! Getting win 💯 with this group was special!
3-0 over Thanksgiving to get to 6-0 on the year and the best start in program history. Proud of this group and the way they come to work everyday. Back on the road Tuesday as we head to Tennessee and play a good conference opponent in Freed-Hardeman.
Huge team win on the road against a very talented Harris-Stowe team moves us to 14-3 (7-3). Guys battled all night. Another big one Thursday at home vs Hannibal-LaGrange.
There’s still time to get signed up! We already have a great group of teams registered.
Looking forward to our first team camp here at Wayland! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Preseason polls don’t mean much, but it’s a testament to our players and the respect they have earned. Love the guys I get to coach every day. The target is now on our back.
Lost another close one against a good Park team. Brings us to 15-5. We’ve been talking about consistency all week and couldn’t finish the game today. All 5 losses have been by a combined 8 possessions. I believe in this team and we will figure it out!

Exited to see what year 4 brings for

@gocbcmustangs
fans are excited to watch some more of his highlight plays. His leadership and buy in to our program & culture is unmatched.
Credit to Central Christian they were better coached and better prepared than we were tonight. When you get complacent this is what happens. The tougher team always wins and Central was definitely that tonight.
It is a big time honor to be named the NAIA
