Whenever I left my abuser (I am physically more powerful than him, & was better resourced financially), he threatened to suicide. Repeatedly said he’d do it in front of our child.
There are reasons people stay that have nothing to do with money and physical strength.

I agreed that Anya rocked her role. I love the books though and *as* a fan of the books, the show was hard to get used to BUT I did enjoy it in the end. I did notice a distinct drop in script quality b/w S1 & S2. I thought maybe Covid had an impact. S3 will be interesting.

Now we go wherever & whenever. Sometimes she wakes w panic attacks. We go: 2am, dawn, 11pm…I don’t care. She wakes me & we go.

Actually, that happened a couple years ago. Paramedic called me at midnight bc he called them re: heart attack (fake - he does it a lot). Kiddo was so scared she hid in a room & wouldn’t come out. He had paramedics call me to ‘deal with her’.
Our kid’s autistic & he’s a dick.

I served on a jury where his defense was he was too drunk to be aware she refused consent. He was not convicted. I fought so hard in that jury room. I was the only juror under 30yo, and one of 3 women.

Some guys never ‘hear’ it. It took my ex 2 YEARS to tell his family I left him. That’s a full year post-legal divorce. He told the neighbours I ‘was away for work’.
