The City is converting 4,500 streetlights from high pressure sodium (HPS) to light emitting diode (LED) fixtures beginning this month. The project will save the City over 1,600,000 kilowatt hours and approximately $450,000 in energy costs in the first year after implementation.

On Wednesday, Feb. 16, a Metrolink train will travel throughout the 9-mile Arrow corridor in preparation for testing. This will cause minimal delay at the intersections/crossings. Train testing is scheduled to begin on Feb. 22 and will continue until service starts.
