I breastfed non-stop for 16 years. I often breastfed 2 kids at once and breastfed throughout my pregnancies. I had 7 children. Even when eating relatively healthily, I can assure you that our modern "food" does not contain the nutrients necessary for this.

Christianity. Christianity literally destroyed all our "small temples" and replaced them with crosses because people went to these places anyway. Generation after generation, they believed that their ancestors went there to see the cross, and that they were Christians.

The best survivalist animal for SHTF?
If you live in a rural area, even with little land: dairy goats. An adult Alpine or Saanen goat can give you up to 2 liters of milk per day 10 months/year. Humans can survive on just raw goat's milk & you can feed them almost any plant food.

Goats are completely underrated. They eat all sorts of things. With 4 dairy goats without pushing them I have 5 to 6 liters per day. We drink lot of raw milk and in addition, I make about 12 liters of yogurt per week, and 2kg of mozzarella + 1600g of ricotta. (+ delicious meat!)
