2+ years ago, an off shelf at Whole Foods was $24,000. In 2023, the cost of an off shelf is $40,000. The simplest way to diversify away from this spend short of saying “no more”, is hiring a merchandiser espec in ur strongest regions.

Costco’s model is to get you to purchase a “greater quantity” of an item that you already planned on buying. It’s no impulse, it’s excess.
