Teaching kids to fear cops leads to a fight or flight reaponse when they are confronted. Never a good outcome.
Teaching to SHOW respect (sincere or not) gets better results, and provides the citizen with the "high-ground" if the cop abuses their authority.

There is no ADDITIONAL check or permit to carry. But there is a mandatory Federal (FBI) Background Check to purchase

Several of those who had proposals to benefit Black communities have shared their experience meeting with Trump.
In summary, he was sincere, receptive, took action on those proposals, made appropriate connections, and didn't make a media spectacle of them.
