Today Governor Baker signed a new law allowing all registered voters in Massachusetts who wish to vote by mail the option to do so without having to provide a reason.
7 years ago today the 2015 Boston Snow Blitz began in which Boston received 7 feet of snow in 3 weeks (Jan 26/27 - Feb 15).

The Patriots plane is delivering 1.2 million N95 masks from Shenzhen, China to Massachusetts.
The Kraft family paid $2 million, half the total cost, for the masks. And, 300,000 of the masks are going to New York to help with the coronavirus crisis there

During the month of March, Boston will gain almost 3 minutes of sunshine per day for a total of 1 hour 26 minutes of daylight gain for the month of March - the largest monthly sunshine gain of the year!!

Tonight the sunset in Boston will occur at exactly 5pm - the first time we’ve seen a 5pm sunset since November 2nd!!
FYI: In one month (March 8) the sunset will be at 6:43pm.
Today Boston hit 74F making it the warmest January day on record in the city.
Previous to this weekend there was only two January days in total in the past 150 years to hit 70F. This weekend we had two.

Mass-based Stop & Shop announced today that it would begin offering special shopping times to accommodate and protect older customers.
Starting Thursday, Stop & Shop stores will open from 6am to 7:30am only for customers over the age of 60.
