I’ve got to give credit to the 2021 Seniors. This group didn’t have a jr season and only 4 had Varsity experience. In the 20 years that I’ve been the Varsity coach I’ve never had a team with this much heart. Congrats on a league title, you earned it.

Today is the 100th anniversary of Negro League Baseball. Here is a pic of my Dad with Buck O’Neil taken outside of the Negro League HOF in Kansas City, MO not too long before Mr. O’Neill passed away in 2006. Buck was a tireless ambassador for the Negro Leagues.
