Mad respect for taking the fight on short notice. I like Volk, he seems like a decent guy. It seems like he’s struggling with something many athletes do - purpose outside of the game. I hope he finds it, because the harsh truth is every fighter has an expiration date.

It’s always a little cringe when the injured guys start talking trash like ‘let’s go right now’. Clearly you can’t, otherwise it would’ve been you in the octagon. Just pipe down and heal up, then let your fighting speak for itself.

I agree with most but 2005-2015 did have crazy adoption of the internet, social media, and the smartphone. Culturally though, the shift from 2015 onwards has been crazy.
