Congratulations to Ava yr 8 who competed in the World Open Inline Figure Skating Championships which were held held in Toulouse, France. Ava was part of the Silverblades inline figure skating team representing GB & competing against other nations.👏👏
A phenomenal 42 students achieved grade 8 or above in all of their examinations and 91 students passed all 9 subjects at grade 7 or above. A remarkable 11 students achieved grade 9/A* in all subjects. Congratulations to each and every one of our students.

We are delighted to let you know that the results for the Spelling Bee Regional Finals was a great success! Year 7s Jane, Meghpori & Maisie won 1st place in Spanish, German and French respectively. They will be representing the NW in the finals in Cambridge on 27 June.
A great debate with AGSB today, our team won by a fraction 143 points to 142 with their motion ‘single-sex schools are unsuitable in the modern world.’ Both teams debated fantastically & we are sure there will be more exciting debates in the future.

Congratulations Wendy Yr 10 Abbey Yr 9 Hana & Alveena Yr 8 who won the Royal Society of Chemistry Chemquiz competition 2024 at Manchester Metropolitan University, competing against 40 other schools. This really is a fantastic achievement, the last time we won was 24 years ago!
