Yep, Tampa has been a dominant program at the D2 level. They only want Powell because he played at USC. It also goes to show that a lot of people do not follow the sport outside of the D1 level or the SEC. If they did, then they would know about the more successful D2 coaches.

Back spin = carry! If a pitch throws a curve with top spin or drop (not carry). However, if he throws an fb with backspin, it will carry or rise. This same logic applies to a batted ball depending on the angle of attack and point of contact.
